LEVELS

All the programs are offered in 8 levels

· Beginning I and II
· Intermediate I and II
· Advanced I and II
· Superior I and II

Each level lasts 4 weeks. Students can start on any Monday. Instruction in a level will begin every fourth Monday. New students beginning on that date will take the entire 4-week level. Students who begin on another Monday will join the class in progress.

Note: Students, who will be working as volunteers, do not need to pay for the standard Spanish classes or the elective courses as well.

  • Professional Spanish Classes: Spanish for business, Spanish for medical purposes.
  • Elective Courses: Say it Right, Amazing Listening, Keep Speaking, · Skills Building, Vocabulary Building, Writing.

PROFESSIONAL SPANISH

Spanish for Business: This course is designed to cover a wide variety of business topics including finance, banking, investment , staffing, trade, insurance, public relations, marketing, management, and administration.

Spanish for Medical Purposes: Students will learn vocabulary and grammatical structures related to medicine. This course gives students an outstanding foundation in the language used in the medical profession.

ELECTIVE COURSES

Students can choose an elective course depending on their Spanish level, their needs, and abilities. The elective courses last 8 weeks Students, however, can change to a different course after 4 weeks if they want to cover different areas of concentration in Spanish.

These elective courses are:

Say it Right: Students will learn to speak Spanish correctly through exercises and explanations.
Beginning II to Intermediate II.

Amazing Listening: Students will learn actual language using TV shows interviews, and recent movies. By listening , students will get accustomed to the rhythm and natural flow of Spanish.
Intermediate II to Advanced II.

Keep Speaking: Students will use various materials to help them to greatly improve their speaking abilities in Spanish.
Intermediate I and II.

Skills Building: Students will apply structures learned in their standard classes in different ways. This improves all language abilities: Reading, Writing, Comprehension, and Conversation.
Intermediate I to Superior II.

Vocabulary Building: Students will learn hundreds of new words for use in daily life (colloquial language).
Beginning level.

Writing: Students will learn how to write formal and informal compositions. They will be given daily projects and assignments.
Intermediate II and Advanced.
